Lualhati Bautista (1946-)

Lualhati BautistaLualhati Bautista was born on December 2, 1946 in Sta. Ana, Manila. Bautista also writes short stories, and scripts for movies and television. Her novels have been awarded the Don Carlos Palanca Memorial Awards, and her Dekada ‘70 is also considered as a major Tagalog novel by the CCP Encyclopedia of Philippine Literature. Parts of her novels have been translated into English and Finnish.
