Liberation Year Novels
Our timeline of novels in Filipino has been just updated with the majority of works published during the year of liberation in 1945. Most of these works were printed by Palimbagang Tagumpay: Bagong Buhay and Intramuros by Susana C. De Guzman, Dansalan by Simeon P. Arcega, Doctor Satan by Mateo Cruz Cornelio, Hindi Bulag ang Pag-ibig by Jesus S. Esguerra, Kapuwa Bayani by Narciso C. Asistio, Pangalawang Larangan by Alfonso Sujeco and Sino Ako? by Belen Manalo Santiago. Copies of the novels are all available at the Rizal Library in Ateneo.
