Heroes, Season 2
AVE 15 of 300:
Heroes, Season 2
The season 1 finale of Heroes was disappointing, to say the least, considering the build-up and energy of the episodes that led to it. (It tragically paled in comparison with Lost’s season 3 what-the-fuck-is-happening ending.) But Heroes is Heroes and so I could forgive the bad closure for what could have been a very good season run.
Then came season 2. I’m okay with introducing more heroes, but I hoped that The Company was bigger (and more dubious) than what they were able to present so far. I was also hoping for more revelations on the characters from the first season; there was not much, except that their powers are not fixed and could evolve. Okay. But what I could not believe was that they could beat season 1 with a worse finale! So, after everything they had on Adam (he must be “grand”—why, he lived for several centuries!) and the generations ahead of the present ones’, the cliffhanger would be that Sylar finally regained his power? C’mon, there must be something better than that. Honestly, I am not too excited with season 3, but I’m afraid I’ll still give it a chance.
