23rd DLSU Annual Awards for Literature

I was invited by Stan Geronimo of the DLSU to be one of the judges in the Tula and Poetry categories of the 23rd DLSU Annual Awards for Literature. I am glad at how I am able to sustain a working relationship with them. Two years ago, they already asked me to judge in the Kuwento category with Sir Roland Tolentino as co-judge. That same year, Malate invited me to panel in their overnight workshop held in San Pablo City.  

Earlier, I emailed Stan my ranking for the 14 entries they sent me last week (7 for Tula and 7 for Poetry; each entry is a collection of five poems). The winners shall be announced and awarded during the Student Publications Awards Night on January 25, 2008 (Friday) in the William Shaw Little Theater at the De La Salle University. Unfortunately, I cannot join them on the program; and of course, I cannot tell you my winners from the entries now.
